About Me
My journey as an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and Nutritionist began with a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics with Honours, followed by ongoing professional development in reproductive health and fertility nutrition. As founder of Lighthouse Nutrition I am committed to evidence-based practice and regularly update my expertise through advanced training and collaboration with leading fertility specialists. These qualifications ensure that the support and advice I offer are grounded in the latest science, tailored to the unique needs of individuals and couples navigating their fertility journey.
I didn’t always know I’d become a fertility dietitian, but when I look back, it makes sense. Early in my career, I was seeking an area of dietetics that felt meaningful and well suited to my interests. I was drawn to the science and complexity of nutrition, but I wanted to use my skills to make a positive difference.
Over the years, I witnessed many friends, family, and clients face challenges with fertility. Seeing the impact these struggles had on their lives highlighted just how significant compassionate, evidence-based nutrition support could be. The more I learned about fertility nutrition, how it can influence hormones, egg and sperm quality, and early pregnancy, the more I saw the value in this work.
I chose to focus on fertility dietetics because it allows me to combine my commitment to evidence-based practice, my expertise in hormones and biochemistry, and my desire to support people through vulnerable times.
Above all, I want to help create real, measurable outcomes for those navigating their fertility journey.
